How we onboard the AI agent beta
What happens when you request beta access — week-by-week, with checkpoints, who's involved, and what you'll be doing in each phase.
- → Beta onboarding is a 4-week process: week 1 = workspace + ICP; week 2 = first agent (usually Qualification); week 3 = second agent (usually Outreach); week 4 = full review.
- → We onboard new teams every Monday so the cohort is small enough that each team gets a dedicated technical contact.
- → What we ask of you: 1 hour/week for 4 weeks, 5 reps minimum running real pipeline, willingness to give brutal feedback.
What “private beta” actually means
When we say the AI agents are in private beta, we don’t mean “fill in this form and you’re in.” We mean: every Monday we onboard a small cohort of teams, give them dedicated support for 4 weeks, ship fixes based on what we learn, and then open the next cohort.
This post documents the actual process so you know what you’re signing up for.
What we ask of you
Before you request beta access, the requirements:
- B2B SME sales team, 5–50 reps. (Smaller teams don’t generate enough pipeline data for the agents to learn from in 4 weeks. Larger teams need a different onboarding shape — talk to us.)
- A working ICP. The agents amplify whatever you point them at. If your ICP is fuzzy, the Qualification Agent will book unqualified meetings faster than a human BDR. Define the ICP first.
- One hour per week for four weeks. From whoever owns sales in your team — usually the Sales Lead or VP Sales.
- Real pipeline. We need 50+ active deals or 50+ inbound leads per week to evaluate an agent honestly. Practice data doesn’t work.
- Willingness to give brutal feedback. The agents are good but not perfect. We need to hear when they’re wrong, specifically, with examples.
The 4-week timeline
Week 1 — Workspace setup + ICP definition
Monday — kickoff (45 min)
- Provision your workspace.
- Import contacts, accounts, and deals (CSV from existing CRM, or fresh).
- Walk through the dashboard and rep workflows.
- Define ICP rules together — strict gates + soft scoring.
Tuesday–Friday — usage
- Reps start running real pipeline through B2B CRM.
- Daily Slack channel with our team for any blockers.
- We monitor for data ingestion issues and fix anything broken before Friday.
Friday — checkpoint (30 min)
- Review the first week of pipeline data.
- Adjust ICP rules based on what we saw.
- Set the agent activation order for week 2.
Week 2 — First agent (usually Qualification = AI BDR)
Monday — Qualification Agent activation (30 min)
- Turn on the Qualification Agent against your inbound funnel.
- Walk through the auto-response template and booking link setup.
- Go through 10 historical inbound leads together — confirm the agent would have scored them the same way you would have.
Tuesday–Thursday — observation
- Agent runs on real inbound. Every triage decision logged.
- You audit 10 random triages per day. Score 1–5 on whether you agree with the call.
Friday — checkpoint (45 min)
- Review every disagreement.
- Identify rule patterns that need adjusting.
- Tune the rules. Re-score historical leads.
Week 3 — Second agent (usually Outreach = AI SDR)
Monday — Outreach Agent activation (45 min)
- Train the agent on your reps’ past sent emails (we set this up; you provide the access).
- Walk through the drafting + approval workflow.
- Set up the cadence templates.
Tuesday–Thursday — observation
- Reps approve or edit drafts. Every edit logged.
- We monitor edit ratios — if reps are editing >30% of drafts, the voice training is off.
Friday — checkpoint (45 min)
- Review edit patterns.
- Adjust voice training if needed.
- Decide whether to add Research Agent in week 4 or hold.
Week 4 — Full stack + review
Monday — additional agents (45 min)
- Activate any remaining agents you’ve decided to enable.
- Most teams enable Research + Call-Summary at this point. Hygiene Agent is usually week 5+.
Tuesday–Thursday — full-stack usage
- All enabled agents running together.
- We monitor for cross-agent quality issues (e.g., Outreach Agent drafting against stale Research Agent briefs).
Friday — graduation (60 min)
- Full review of pipeline metrics across the 4 weeks.
- Decision: continue, pause, or churn. (If you churn, we delete your workspace and refund any beta charges. No retention sales calls.)
What success looks like at the end of week 4
- The Qualification Agent is triaging 90%+ of inbound at quality you’d expect from a senior BDR.
- The Outreach Agent is drafting first-touches your reps approve with <20% edits.
- The Research Agent is producing briefs your reps reference in real calls.
- Pipeline visibility is markedly better than at week 0.
What success doesn’t look like:
- Reps complaining the AI is wrong but unable to point to specifics.
- Edit ratios above 50%.
- Agents producing output nobody reads.
If we’re at the second list at week 4, we either keep iterating or politely conclude we’re not the right fit yet.
How many teams we onboard per Monday
We currently onboard 5 teams per cohort — small enough that every team gets a dedicated technical contact. We open a new cohort every Monday. If we’re at capacity for the next cohort, we’ll tell you the earliest date you’d start.
Pricing during beta
- Free CRM: $0, generally available, regardless of whether you’re in the beta.
- AI agents during beta: $49 per agent per month, opted in per agent. Usual rate, no beta discount.
- First month is on us — if we don’t onboard you successfully by the end of week 4, we don’t bill for the first month. (We will bill if it’s working.)
Getting started
We’ll get back to you within one business day with the next available Monday cohort.
